Directions and Parking

The closest parking is the Central Grounds Garage (located behind Harrison/Small on the map), which can be paid with cash, card, or via the Parkmobile App.

Transit

Charlottesville Area Transit website

There is a free trolley line that runs throughout Charlottesville, and has several stops near UVA as well as the hotels listed on this page.

Charlottesville also has plenty of ride share and scooter/bike share options as well.

Dining

Several lunch options are available in close walking distance to Special Collections. We recommend close dining and/or pick up options, as we will resume the workshop at 1pm sharp!
